We can broadly categorize curtains in two ways - by style and by fabric. While curtains are used at different places for different purposes, they tend to be categorized by the use they are going to be put into. You can use only a plastic or chemical quoted plastic curtain in a hospital or shower stall where it come into contact with water frequently. Likewise, you cannot use stylish or fancy curtains in your bed room or drawing room.
The first step to take when measuring for curtains is to start by measuring the width of the curtain pole or track this will then determine how long you would like your curtains to be. A curtain pole is a good indicator as to where the curtains will finish either at the seal length below the seal or touching right down to the floor we recommend as a rough guide that the curtains should finish 1.5 cm above the sale. If you would like your curtains to fall below the seal we recommend that they finished 15 cm below that if you want your curtains to flow from top to bottom from the rod to the floor we would then recommend a gap of 1.5 cm above the floor.
Curtains can add a touch of class to any room and not just to control the lighting and your privacy made-to-measure curtains can come in many different colours and designs with so much choice out there sometimes it can be confusing so we decided to put some tips together to help you choose your curtains depending on what type of room they will be placed in.
